Women have multiple roles to adapt to changes in society today. We continue meeting household and family responsibilities, while at the same time we work to supplement family income, whilst attempting to cultivate and maintain personal interests at the same time. We are daughters, sisters, wives, mothers, grandmothers, aunts, employees, employers, friends, mentors, companions etc. We lead in some of these roles and we follow in others.
We strive to be perfect in all areas of our lives. We tend to put loved ones’ interest ahead of our own. Consequently we do not spend enough time taking care of ourselves. As demands on us increase to fulfill these roles, we often feel inadequate or overwhelmed. This can lead to a feeling of losing control and helplessness making us prone to stress. If this continues unremittingly then it may lead to illness, poor health, frustration, depression and burnout.
Women need to understand how stress affects them, recognize warning signs, and develop coping strategies to maintain health in all dimensions of their lives.
This workshop will help you in identifying all the factors that influence self-confidence, create self-awareness which then leads to living a life of self-satisfaction through developing a strong and self-nourishing positive self-concept.
